Adhering to the philosophy of “laying equal stress on theory and practice”, Shanghai Training Base constantly enriches its training modes and contents. By taking a training demand-oriented approach, it develops practice classes based on traditional classroom teaching, aiming to further enhance trainees’ senses of experience and gain. Since its establishment, Shanghai Training Base has developed a batch of multi-field, professional practice bases through cooperation with many well-known enterprises and public institutions both in and outside Shanghai, including Arcplus Group PLC, Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute, China Financial Information Center, Shanghai E-port (Shanghai E&P International, INC.), Baidu Shanghai Branch, and Kr Space (Shanghai Haka Information Technology Co., Ltd.). Relying on these practice bases, it has carried out a series of on-the-spot teaching, symposium, and tour activities, thus deepening participants’ perceptual knowledge and rational understanding of the training themes and building extensive exchange and cooperation platforms between Chinese enterprises and public institutions and participants from all over the world. Besides improving training effect, this approach also helps Shanghai Training Base further deepen its pragmatic cooperation and build a training system with Shanghai brand characteristics.
