Ms. DANMARYS LUCIA HERNANDEZ GONZALEZ, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Venezuela. From June 29 to July 19, 2023, she participated in the Seminar on Science and Technology Innovation for Latin American Countries sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and undertaken by Shanghai Business School.

During the seminar, Ms. Danmarys attended the 65th Grand Lecture of Shanghai Business School and gave a lecture of "Science and Technology in Venezuela: Science and Technology for Life and Production". In addition, she attended and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the 9th China International College Students’ "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Shanghai Area) organized by SBS.

After the seminar, Ms. Danmarys maintained close contact with us and became an envoy to convey the friendship between China and Venezuela. She facilitated the visit of Venezuelan President Maduro to Shanghai Fenglin Group and successfully established a platform for communication and exchange between China and Venezuela.
