In the afternoon of June 20, 2023 (Tue.), the College of International Education organized an online meeting on Summer Vacation Safety Education for International Students to remind them of the matters they should pay attention to during the summer vacation, to raise their awareness of safety and to build a “safety net”.
In the Meeting, detailed requirements on the code of conduct were made and reminders related to possible accommodation and travel problems were provided to the international students. It was emphasized that the international students should strictly abide by the laws, regulations and SBS rules during summer vacation; they should report the information of leaving Shanghai or returning home in advance according to the management regulations; students staying in China should raise the awareness of safety, prevent theft and fraud, pay attention to travel, electricity and gas safety, etc.
The Meeting further strengthened the safety awareness of the international students, tightened the “safety string”, built a “safety net”, and created a good and harmonious campus atmosphere during the vacation.
