On the morning of July 19, 2023, the 2023 International Students Scholarship Review Conference was held in Room 1501 of Xuhui Campus. The International Students Scholarship Review Committee reviewed and evaluated the awards and winners of international student scholarships for this year. Wu Zhong, Deputy Chief of the Party Committee of Shanghai Business School (SBS) and President of SBS, attended the review conference, which was presided over by Chen Wei, Deputy Dean of the College of International Education.
Dai Ying, Vice president of the College of International Education, introduced the preparation of this year’s scholarship evaluation, including award categories, lists and selection criteria, etc., and then elaborated in detail the application of registered students and the review of their secondary colleges, as well as the review of freshman materials and interview.
President Wu Zhong put forward the following requirements for the scholarship review: first, the data information should be accurate; second, the evaluation process should be fair, open and impartial. He stressed that the annual scholarship evaluation should be strictly in accordance with the process and standards, with transparent data and solid evaluation process.
The International Students Scholarship Review Committee announced the list of this year’s winners of Shanghai International Student Scholarship and Shanghai Business School International Student Scholarship at the end of the review conference, which was agreed by the jury. The College of International Education could adjust the list of Shanghai Government Awards for international students based on the enrollment and registration of new students.
