On the morning of October 25th, 2023, the opening ceremony of the 19th Sports Meeting of Shanghai Business School started in Fengxian Campus. The College of International Education organized more than 80 international students from Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America to participate in the square matrix and various competitions.
The College of International Education organized international students to participate in 7 individual events and 3 collective events in this Sports Meeting. Every student took part in the competition with a high spirit and showed their talent and style. Although they come from diverse countries with varying cultures and backgrounds, they all share a passion for sports and a competitive spirit. Their active participation and wonderful performance are a beautiful landscape in field, which won warm applause from the audience.
In this Sports Meeting, the College of International Education has achieved excellent results. They won the first place in 400 meters, shot put and 4x100 meters relay of men’s events, as well as the third place in 200 meters, the sixth in Frisbee and the seventh in shot put of women’s events.
This sports meeting is a vibrant and spirited event, and it serves as a significant opportunity for the College of International Education at SBS to showcase the international students’ unique style to the entire school. Our college will continue to support and encourage international students to participate in various sports activities, so that they can improve their physical fitness and teamwork ability through sports. It is expected that international students can make greater achievements in future competitions and gain recognition for the college and our university.
