The teaching deans and class supervisors in charge of international student work in each secondary college have put forward constructive suggestions on the writing standards of international students’ thesis, the talent training system for international students, and graduate internships. After in-depth communication and discussion, Vice Dean Chen Wei proposed the following suggestions: Firstly, the College of International Education will determine the enrollment scale based on the actual situation of the school, in order to alleviate the pressure on teaching, daily management, and thesis guidance in various secondary colleges. In addition, strengthen communication with functional departments such as the Academic Affairs Office and the Degree Office to understand the specific standards for the form and content of international student thesis writing, as well as the key points for the Ministry of Education’s thesis sampling. Finally, he emphasized the need to increase efforts in the management of international student education, strengthen education on legal regulations and school rules for international students, and ensure a stable, safe, and orderly campus environment.

The regular meeting on foreign student education in this new semester comprehensively reviewed the key points of recent international student management work, and clarified the key points and difficulties that need to be overcome in future work. As the first batch of English-taught international students from our school approaches graduation, the College of International Education and various secondary colleges will closely cooperate and work together to lay a solid foundation for the smooth entry of international students into their future academic and career paths.
