For the purpose of strengthening the external cooperation and exchanges of MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Training Base”) and enriching its training modes and training resources, a delegation led by Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of College of International Education and Deputy Director of Shanghai Training Base, visited Ruijin Cadre Academy in Jiangxi Province on April 12~14. The delegation was warmly received by Pan Jiugen, Deputy Dean of Ruijin Cadre Academy. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges about training status, program features, future cooperation plans, etc.
At the symposium, Pan Jiugen first welcomed the delegation of Shanghai Training Base, and then offered a detailed introduction to the history, organizational structure, schooling features, and superior teaching resources of the academy. Ruijin Cadre Academy was established in November, 2013, and is one of the first batch of national Party spirit education bases filed with the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and a major cadre academy supported by the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the CPC. The academy has rich training resources and training experience in Party member and cadre training. By establishing cooperation with Shanghai Training Base, it intends to effectively innovate the model of Red Education, actively build a featured training brand, constantly raise its schooling level, and energetically strengthen the popularity and influence of “Red Culture” resources in Southern Jiangxi Province.
First, Chen Wei thanked Ruijin Cadre Academy for its support, and stressed the vital significance of establishing a cooperative relationship with the academy upon the 100th anniversary of Party building. He wished that the features of both sides could be fully brought into play to exhibit the highlights of training work and create a demonstration effect. After that, he introduced the history, foreign-aid training goals and modes, program operation characteristics, and training achievements of SBS, and elaborated on the demands of Shanghai Training Base in terms of teaching staff, curriculum design, and training resources in combination with the conditions of Ruijin Cadre Academy. He added that, being both training providers, the two sides could cooperate with the other in training program design, seminar, on-the-spot teaching, tour, and other aspects. Later the two sides engaged in full exchanges about cooperation issues, and discussed follow-up cooperation plans. After the symposium, the delegation of the Foreign-aid Training Base was showed around the campus environment, teaching places, and on-the-spot teaching points of the academy.
The delegation of Shanghai Training Base also visited the Foreign Affairs Office of Ganzhou Municipal People’s Government and Ganzhou Municipal Commercial Affairs Bureau. They held in-depth discussions about the development and sharing of foreign-aid training resources, the improvement of foreign-aid training quality, and the promotion of external economic and trade cooperation in Ganzhou, and reached consensuses about future cooperation.
