On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the College of International Education organized a table tennis event for international students. This activity aimed to introduce them to the sport of table tennis and its rules, fostering friendships through the game, improving their physical fitness, and enhancing team cohesion among the participants.

As China’s national sport, table tennis enjoys widespread popularity and has a significant historical foundation in “ping-pong diplomacy”. It is one of the most representative sports for promoting national fitness. The event attracted numerous international students who were curious about how a small ball could involve various hitting techniques and placements. Chinese students from the table tennis club patiently guided the international students through the skills and rules of the game, creating an engaging and enjoyable experience filled with laughter and lively interaction.
