On the morning of December 6, 2024, the College of International Education held the 2021 International Students’ Employment Guidance and Internship Job Fair in classroom 113, Building 1 of Fengxian Campus. In order to help the graduating class of international students to better prepare for internship and employment, Ding Fang, General Manager of Pincai Group, was invited as the keynote speaker, which attracted many international students to attend the meeting.
Mr. Ding took internship guidance as the starting point, explaining how to make a resume that can attract the attention of enterprises and meet market requirements. He shared numerous valuable tips, including how to choose the right resume format, the importance of emphasizing key content, and how to tailor the resume for different positions. The guidance was not just theoretical but was also enriched with many practical examples, providing significant benefits to the international students.
After the guidance, there was an interactive Q&A session. International students brought their resumes and asked the professional to check them. In this process, each international student got advice on internship and employment, optimization of resume and improvement of interviewing skills based on their conditions. In addition, the international students actively asked questions and interacted with each other on various issues of finding internship and employment opportunities. The meeting went with a swing.
During the talent selection and hiring session, several international students, showcasing their impressive resumes and strong communication skills, were recognized on the spot by HR representatives from Pincai Group and may have the opportunity to join the company. This was another significant highlight of the event.
By organizing this event, the College of International Education aims to equip international students with valuable job-seeking skills while helping them secure suitable internships and employment opportunities. The College will continue to create more such platforms to support the career development of every international student.
