China and Moldova are traditional friendly partners. Over the past 30-plus years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China-Morocco relations have developed healthily and stably. Political mutual trust between the two countries has been increasingly deepened, solid cooperation has been steadily promoted across various fields, and they have closely collaborated in dealing with international and regional affairs. In the field of urban development, the solar power station in Criuleni, built with China’s assistance to Moldova, is now operational and has become an important testament to the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. The Chinese government attaches great importance to developing bilateral friendly and cooperative relations with Moldova. This Seminar is a pragmatic initiative to foster mutual understanding between the peoples of China and Moldova and to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

She hopes that this Seminar can serve as a platform to help participants gain a comprehensive understanding of China’s development path and urban governance experiences. Guided by the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, China and Moldova will deepen cooperation and jointly plan for the future, working hand in hand to build a better, sustainable world.
