I had the honor of participating in the "Belt and Road" National Vocational Education Digitalization Seminar hosted by the People's Republic of China, which included visits to Shanghai and Changchun. The program was both comprehensive and highly rewarding, offering valuable pathways for exploring and advancing vocational education in developing countries. China's education system has clearly evolved through multiple developmental phases, with vocational education recently becoming a national priority. Chinese enterprises and industries have played crucial roles in building educational infrastructure and developing learning resources. Substantial government investment in education has resulted in cutting-edge, high-quality programs.

I look forward to continuing professional exchanges with Shanghai counterparts, particularly in education, housing, economy, and trade. While China has made remarkable progress, I believe there's still room to improve convenience for foreign businesses. I aspire to foster commercial cooperation between Iraqi and Chinese enterprises in my career. With the creative industry currently booming in the Caribbean region, accessing high-quality standardized tools and establishing partnerships with China would significantly contribute to developing our creative sector.

ANDRE RICHARD COLIN HAYES, Grenada

As a human resources officer, I gained substantial practical knowledge and applicable techniques from this seminar. The curriculum was comprehensive, and while some content isn't immediately relevant to Tanzania's current context, it will undoubtedly prove valuable in the future. I hope Tanzania will enhance its focus on the selection, appointment, and management of civil servants. I'm confident China can support our implementation of a fair recruitment system to attract top talent to government service, improve public welfare, develop digital literacy among civil servants, and optimize our performance management system. I also invite Chinese investors to explore Tanzania's mining sector, which offers significant potential and is well-prepared for investment.

GOODLUCK BARAKA NYIONDO, Tanzania

The tourism and hotel management seminar provided profound insights into how tourism can stimulate national economies. China demonstrates excellent practice in preserving natural landscapes while developing surrounding infrastructure to create tourist attractions. A key takeaway was the strategic integration of technology to enhance visitor experiences, particularly through museums and digital platforms that effectively promote regional attractions and generate travel demand. Moving forward, I recommend educational cooperation through blended learning, sharing tourism governance expertise with Kenya's industry, and facilitating student exchanges between our countries.

LILLIAN MWENDWA GIKUTHA, Kenya

The development and governance seminar proved extremely fruitful, offering valuable lessons in policy implementation. The Chinese government's commitment to public service is evident in initiatives like urban village redevelopment. I also admired the Chinese people's dedication to tourism promotion and cultural preservation. The advanced industrialization and green economy initiatives were particularly noteworthy aspects of the program.

FIGHTON EDWARD CHIRWA, Malawi

This Trade and Investment Law seminar held significant meaning for all Nepali participants. It helped us understand China's remarkable economic growth trajectory and sustainable development plans. President Xi's development vision has been concretely implemented nationwide. Drawing from China's experience, the seminar also illustrated how Nepal could benefit from attracting foreign direct investment.

TARA PRASAD KHAREL, Nepal

I extend my gratitude to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai Business School for providing this impactful opportunity to Central Bank of Afghanistan staff. This seminar has truly inspired us and positively influenced our educational approaches. This and future planned programs will undoubtedly strengthen bilateral relations across multiple domains, promoting political, financial, and economic development, technological innovation, and social prosperity across our regions.

Overall, this seminar held great significance by enhancing participants' capabilities and providing practical tools to advance trade development in Burkina Faso. Site visits to industrial zones and pilot free trade zones offered hands-on understanding of Chinese trade practices, while creating channels for Burkinabe businesses to establish commercial relations with Chinese enterprises. This reflects China's strong commitment to international partnerships. The seminar exemplifies win-win cooperation between China and Burkina Faso through genuine experience sharing. All discussions remained focused on core themes, and interactions with highly qualified experts were both candid and insightful. We hope such seminars will continue and explore more specific topics like "Service Trade Development in Least Developed Countries," "E-commerce as a Trade Development Alternative," "Pilot Free Trade Zones for LCD Development," or "Industrialization and Opening-up Strategies for LCDs."

MAHAMOUDOU DRABO, Burkina Faso

Among the course topics, I found the session on technology in trade particularly insightful, especially the TikTok live sales training. I anticipate future opportunities to explore additional digital marketing trends and strategies for the Chinese market. The updates on foreign investment regulations and Chinese customs procedures were extremely helpful for business operations. Given the challenges facing Laos, I would greatly appreciate guidance from China on developing a robust industrial sector.

PAVINA SYCHAREUN, Laos

The seminar courses and arrangements were exceptional and memorable, providing thorough understanding of China's criminal justice system—its nature, evolution, operational models, stakeholders, and case handling procedures. Thanks to our dedicated instructors, my comprehension of the Chinese legal system is now substantially deeper. As a transportation and logistics entrepreneur, I'm interested in exploring the import of Shacman trucks from China, as this competitive brand already operates successfully in Zimbabwe.
