Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience: Promoting Mutual Understanding Among the Peoples Through Craftsmanship
In order to deepen cultural exchanges, the Summer School also specially planned the special activity of "In-Depth Experience of Intangible Cultural Heritage," which allowed international students to feel the profound heritage of Chinese civilization through immersive interactions, such as calligraphy, traditional Chinese medicine health preservation, and health-preserving wormwood hammer making. At the Writing Brush and Ink Palace Workshop, international students tried their hand at writing Chinese characters with brushes and experienced the oriental aesthetics of "handwriting reflecting personality"; In Xinchang Intangible Cultural Heritage Traditional Chinese Medicine Literature Museum, international students learned acupoint massage and medicated diet therapy, and tried their hand at making health-preserving wormwood hammers. International student representatives remarked at the completion ceremony, "The Chinese intangible cultural heritage experience made me realize that hotel rooms can become miniature museums of cultural heritage, and tourist routes can also be transformed into time tunnels for dialogue among civilizations. Through traditional crafts, we have established a deep friendship with local craftsmen. This cultural resonance makes cooperation full of possibilities."

Brand Empowerment: Creating a Benchmark for Educational Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative
Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College of International Education, said at the completion ceremony that the Summer School helped international students achieve "three levels of transcendence." First, they achieved the transcendence of geographical distance in their pursuit of knowledge—by traveling across China's vibrant cultural and tourism innovation landscape, they implemented the ancient Chinese philosophy of "acquiring as much knowledge as possible from books and having as much direct contact with the world as possible"; second, they had in-depth cross-cultural dialogue, touching the warmth of Chinese civilization with their hands and gained a deeper understanding of the essence of dialogue among civilizations; third, they gained a forward-looking vision beyond industries—they will apply the professional knowledge they have acquired to envision future development and sketch an innovative blueprint for the global culture and tourism industry!

The College of International Education actively builds a bridge for cultural exchanges among countries along the "Belt and Road," and takes intangible cultural heritage experience and cultural exchanges as a link to better empower the career development of international talent, promote mutual understanding among the peoples, and set a new benchmark for international education cooperation under the "Belt and Road Initiative," aiming to build a bridge for mutual learning between the China and the world's diverse civilizations.
