On April 9, 2024, Ambassador to Uruguay Huang Yazhong attended the online Exchange Conference on the Impact of the New Silk Road on Shanghai and Uruguay. Ambassador Loedel, Director of the Office of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uruguay, President Wu Zhong of Shanghai Business School, and Director De Leon of Centro de Estudios de Paysandú attended the Conference.

Recently, mainstream news media in Panama, such as La Gaceta, El Digital Panamá, 180gradospty, Frecuencia Informativa, etc., reported the Seminar on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Management in Latin America, Caribbean Countries and South Pacific Region hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by our university and reposted it on Instagram. The Seminar was successfully held online from August 19th to September 1st, and was unanimously affirmed by all the participants.

Sino-Uruguay COVID-19 Pandemic Prevention and Control Experience Online Exchange Meeting, sponsored by SBS and Uruguay Paysandu Research Center, was held online on March 18. Uruguayan Minister of Public Health Daniel Salinas and Chinese Ambassador to Uruguay Wang Gang attended the meeting, and gave speeches. Public health experts from the two countries shared their respective experience in pandemic prevention and control and medical rescue.
