Mr. Giovani Savio de Andrade Oliveira, (former) Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Recife (Brazil) and Manager of Assets and New Business of the Pernambuco State Investment Co., Ltd. attended the online Seminar on Local Development Planning for Recife that hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by Shanghai Business School from August 4 to August 17, 2022.
During the Seminar, Mr. Giovani strongly expressed his love for China and his desire to continuously strengthen cooperation with SBS. He then took the Seminar as a starting point to build a platform for communication between China and Brazil. With his great help and coordination, SBS held several online cooperation and exchange meetings with local famous universities such as the Federal University of Pernambuco, the University of Pernambuco, and the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, and signed inter-university MOUs with the three Brazilian universities. This is a new beginning for deeper friendship and closer exchange and cooperation between the two countries, and a new achievement in sharing each other’s experience, learning from each other and promoting common development.
