creation date:2023-10-24

On October 23, 2023, the College of International Education organized international students to visit Jinshan, learn about the urban development and cultural customs of Jinshan, and enjoy the unique style of Shanghai.

The first destination on the itinerary was Jinshanzui Fishing Village in Shanghai, which holds the distinction of being the earliest fishing village on the coastal land of Shanghai and the last fishing village remaining in the city. Located adjacent to Hangzhou Bay and on the north side of the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, the village is just a short distance from the sea, with Jinshan Island visible across the water. International students immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Shanghai Old Street within Jinshanzui Fishing Village. They were able to experience the unique coastal customs and savor the local cuisine, which provided them with novel and enriching experiences.

Later, international students visited Jinshan Blooming Ecological Park. In autumn, the sea of flowers in the garden is beautiful and majestic and the undulating islands with petal postured in different ways are refreshing. International students enjoyed the beautiful scenery and felt pleasant at the same time, which further motivated their love for Shanghai.

It is also hoped that through colorful and rich experience activities, international students will get to know, be friendly with, love and be close to China, and they will become international friendship ambassadors who are willing, able, and eager to share Chinese stories. Moreover, we are dedicated to nurturing top-notch international business leaders and creating a prestigious brand and talent pool for our Study Abroad in Shanghai Business School” program.
