In order to gain a deeper understanding of industrial development and the practical needs of enterprises for talent cultivation, and further strengthen cooperation between universities and enterprises, on the afternoon of November 5th, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, Lao Xiaoyun, led a delegation of relevant personnel from the Research Office, Student Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, College of Art and Design, College of Business Information, and College of International Education to visit and conduct research at the National Foreign Cultural Trade Base (Shanghai) International High-tech Cultural Equipment Industry Base (hereinafter referred to as the "Base").
The General Manager of the Base, Ren Xiaohui, warmly welcomed the visit, and accompanied them to visit the ongoing construction projects of the Base, introducing the overall spatial construction plan and project progress of the Base. Ye Bin, the marketing director of the base, provided a detailed introduction to the background and goals of the base construction, the building of the industrial ecosystem in the park, and the establishment of the functional service platform.
During the research, both parties had in-depth exchanges and discussions on deepening the integration of industry and education, collaborative education, student internships and practices, employment and entrepreneurship, professional joint construction, scientific research cooperation, international exchanges, think tank co-construction, enterprise going global, employee training, and other matters. Consensus was gathered, and specific directions and action measures for cooperation between the two parties were clarified.
In the end, Lao said there is a strong point of convergence between the two parties, and hoped that the cooperation will be implemented in specific projects as soon as possible in the future, promoting the construction of "Shanghai Business School Internship Base", jointly advancing the process of industry education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results between universities and enterprises, and promoting high-quality collaborative development.
It is the first national foreign cultural and trade base, and also an important window and driving force for Shanghai's cultural and creative industries. The first phase of the Base is located in Putuo District, with a property space of 20,000 square meters. The Lingang Digital Cultural Equipment Industry Headquarters Base is the second phase, focusing on building a digital cultural industry brand, covering digital meta-verse, digital twins, 3D engines, game anime, movie exhibitions, and other content, promoting enterprises with digital equipment as the core to go global.
