China and Nepal share a history of friendly exchanges spanning millennia. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have provided mutual political support and engaged in close economic cooperation, resulting in significant regional development and mutual benefits. Judicial practice, as the cornerstone of rule of law development, serves as a crucial means for resolving social disputes. It holds significant importance in safeguarding social fairness and justice, as well as advancing the modernization of governance. In recent years, China's series of deployments and measures for judicial system reform have originated from and directly addressed Chinese judicial practice, forming beneficial experience in the effective integration of rule of law construction and social management. The holding of this seminar is both an exchange and communication between China and Nepal in the field of judicial practice and a pragmatic measure to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.

Chen Wei stated that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal. Both sides wish to take this opportunity to promote continuous new development in China-Nepal relations, better benefiting both countries and their peoples. Guided by the principle of building a community with a shared future for mankind, this seminar aims to share China's judicial practice and judicial system construction, provide reference for Nepal's judicial practice, cultivate more high-quality and professional personnel in the judicial field for Nepal, and open a new opportunity for China and Nepal to achieve complementary advantages and open development.

The seminar will share Chinese experience while also exploring the characteristics and wisdom of Nepal's judicial practice. He expressed the hope that this dialogue in the judicial field will inject new impetus into the rule of law development for both countries and contribute to the building of a more just and equitable social environment for both sides.
