On the afternoon of May 17th, the Seminar on Applying E-Port Solutions to Strengthen Supply Chain Interconnectivity and Upgrade Trade Facilitation Standards —hosted by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and undertaken by Shanghai Business School (SBS)—was invited to participate in a sharing session at the "AI+ Education Shared Space Station" of the 22nd Shanghai Education Expo. Twenty-six international business officials from seven countries—Bangladesh, Fiji, Grenada, Laos, Moldova, Montenegro, and Nigeria—attended the meeting. Agan Aniyom Eyoma, an entrepreneur in the aviation and logistics sector from Nigeria, and Daiana Lisa Waitawa, a human resources official from the Fiji Municipal Hall, delivered speeches as representatives of the participants.

Agan Aniyom Eyoma stated that cross-border e-commerce is crucial to Nigeria, and imports are a significant driver of Nigeria's economic development, with China being one of its most important partners. While AI is not yet widespread in her field, she believes artificial intelligence will contribute to Nigeria's future development.

Following the event, seminar participants expressed their significant gains from the session. Athin Kumer Kundu, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Relations of Bangladesh, noted that the sharing session included both theoretical introductions to AI and practical demonstrations such as livestreaming sales. The diverse presentation formats allowed him to directly experience the significant promoting effect of artificial intelligence on the education sector. Ahmad Abdulmumini Yelwa, Chief Project Analyst at the Nigeria Management Development Centre, and Dominic Asuqua Nyambi, Deputy General Manager of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, also stated that the Education Expo broadened their horizons, making them aware of the significant advantages of AI in improving work efficiency and reducing labor and time costs. They believe that AI will play an increasingly important role in the future, and that China's application of AI has reached new heights, worthy of learning and emulation by other countries.

This sharing session not only showcased Shanghai's latest achievements in educational modernization but also provided a dialogue platform for the international community. In the future, SBS will leverage its disciplinary strengths, further deepen the integration of AI and education, and promote industry-education integration to a higher level. We will cultivate more high-quality, applied business professionals for the nation and, relying on the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), support mutually beneficial cooperation with countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
