China and El Salvador are both natural members of the “Global South”. Despite of differences in social systems and stages of development, both countries have demonstrated through concrete actions their commitment to building a community with a shared future for mankind. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in August 2018, bilateral ties have achieved significant growth under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state. China has aided the construction of several major livelihood projects in El Salvador, actively contributing to its economic and social development. These projects stand as important symbols of the friendship between China and El Salvador and have led to continuously enriched cooperation, more diverse forms of collaboration, and increasingly significant results across various fields.
