On the morning of March 23, a faculty delegation comprising four members, including Tracy Baldwin from Northeastern State University in the United States, visited our university for a tour and exchange activities. This visit aimed to enhance mutual understanding between the two institutions and promote in-depth collaboration in areas such as faculty and student exchanges and academic program development.
The delegation first visited our Caobao Road Campus, where they conducted an on-site inspection of the Digital Teaching and Learning Center, the Coffee, Wine and Tea Art Training Room, the Hotel Room Training Room, as well as the library, student dormitories, and dining facilities. The campus’s modern educational environment, intelligent teaching facilities, and distinctive application-oriented talent cultivation model left a deep impression on the delegation.

Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the Zhongshan West Road Campus and held a discussion meeting in Conference Room 1504. The meeting was chaired by Dai Ying, Associate Dean of the College of International Education. Attendees included Ye Long, Director of the Computer Science Department from the College of Business Information; Liu Xuyi, Associate Professor from College of Business Foreign Languages; and Zeng Shiyin, Admissions Coordinator for International Students from the College of International Education.

During the meeting, Associate Dean Dai Ying first extended a warm welcome to the faculty delegation from Northeastern State University on behalf of the university. Subsequently, Ms. Zeng Shiyin provided a detailed introduction to the university’s history, academic strengths, and international education programs. Mr. Ye Long and Ms. Liu Xuyi shared insights into the program offerings, faculty expertise, and talent cultivation achievements of their department respectively. The delegation from Northeastern State University presented an overview of the university and its management programs, with a focus on the strengths and distinctive features of its business education.
In the open discussion session, both sides engaged in in-depth conversations on topics such as faculty and student exchanges and academic collaboration, reaching a consensus on further expanding cooperation in the future. Both parties expressed their commitment to leveraging this visit as an opportunity to strengthen communication and elevate the educational partnership between the two institutions to a new level.

This visit has established an excellent platform for communication between our university and Northeastern State University, further solidifying the foundation for bilateral cooperation and injecting new momentum into future collaboration across deeper and broader areas.
