Recently, Mr. Martin Piovano Andriolo, the participant in the 2018 Seminar on Trade and Investment for Latin American and Caribbean Countries (Spanish) and Executive Director of Uruguay MPA Consulting Company, sent a letter to MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials(Shanghai) of our university to congratulate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Mr. Piovano said that this year is the 100th anniversary of CPC and the great achievements will shine through the history. In 1949, the People's Republic of China was established, ending the "Hundred Year Humiliation" of modern Chinese history that was poor and weak, and developed into a powerful country respected by the world. Since 1978, CPC has led the great process of reform and opening up, therefore people's living standards have been significantly improved.
Mr. Piovano emphasized that the centenary only ushers in the prime of life. All employees of MPA Consulting Company would like to extend warm congratulations to all the Chinese Communists and the Chinese people!
Mr. Piovano has always been in close contact with us after the seminar. Last year, at the beginning of Covid-19 epidemic, he recorded a video to express good wishes to the Chinese people, and this was reported on the website of the Chinese Embassy in Uruguay. Besides, with his promotion, our university successfully held two online exchange meetings: The Belt and Road Initiative: New Space for Cooperation China-Uruguay (China Part) and Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Experience Exchange China-Uruguay, which have enhanced exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
