Inspiring development and starting new journeys - our university holds the International Student Education Work Conference for spring semester of 2022

In order to ensure the effective implementation of various tasks for international students in the new semester and to solidly promote the work related to international students in the spring, on the morning of March 3, our university's 2022 Spring Semester International Student Education Work Conference was successfully held in the third conference room of the comprehensive building of Fengxian Campus. The Academic Affairs Office, the Student Office, the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Center, the person in charge of the Information Office, the deans of the secondary colleges in charge of international students, the academic secretaries and class teachers (advisors), and the relevant personnel of the International Education College attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education.

At the meeting, Executive Vice Dean Chen Wei first clarified the work objectives for international students in the new semester, namely, "increment quantity, improve quality, and elevate the level" based on the current situation of international students' work. All relevant colleges should actively implement the university’s 14th five-year career development plan. While steadily expanding the scale of international students, colleges should further improve the level of management services for international students and the standardization of online education, and take the successful approval of the university’s master program as an opportunity to seize the opportunities for development, and strive to improve the level of education for international students. Vice Dean Dai Ying of the College of International Education then made specific arrangements for the work of this semester in terms of the organization and implementation of the supplementary examinations for international students, self-examination of teaching documents, interviews for international students' admissions, and formulation of teaching plans and syllabuses. The participating functional departments and secondary colleges also discussed and clarified the work of international students in the new semester.

The successful convening of this meeting not only pointed out the direction for the work of international students in the new semester, but also laid a solid foundation for the effective implementation and promotion of the work of international students.
