On the afternoon of February 22, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held the First Faculty Meeting of New Semester in Conference Room 1504 of Xuhui Campus. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College, Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College and all staff members attended the meeting, which was chaired by Chen Wei.
At the meeting, Dean Chen first conveyed the spirit of the university's middle-level cadre meeting. 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Shen Daming, Secretary of SBS analyzed the main situation facing the current development of our university and all cadres are required to adhere to the leadership of political construction, strengthen the construction of work style, and improve execution. Tang Haiyan, President of SBS made arrangements for the university's key work from twelve aspects, including the reform of talent training mode, promotion of scientific research, and high-quality construction of Shanghai Lausanne College.
Focusing on the university's work arrangement, Dean Chen pointed out the focus of our college's work this year: First, enhance the connotation construction of international education, especially in the construction of professional courses, and condense the concept and the requirements, so as to promote the level of international student education. Second, continuously optimize the curriculum system of foreign aid training, continue to create "China Today" courses, actively expand the visiting bases, improve the level and structure of the teaching staff, continue to amplify the spillover effect. Third, improve the internal governance level, constantly improve the construction of management system, and optimize the evaluation, incentive and restraint mechanism of faculty members.
Facing the new development situation and opportunities, Dean Chen encouraged all faculty members to continue the past, forge ahead, seize the day and live it to the full.
