On the afternoon of December 2, our university and China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. held a Signing Ceremony for Cooperation in Practice Teaching Base for Foreign Aid Training. President Tang Haiyan, Chief Economist Luo Zhisong of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Zhang Guofeng, President of China Railway Shanghai Design Institute attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches. Liu Beimin, Investigator of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Zhong Guogang, Vice President of China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., Yang Xiongbin, General Manager of Overseas Business Department, Xu Yingying, Director of Party Office, University Office, and Publicity Department of our university, Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education Institute and Deputy Director of MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials(Shanghai), attended the ceremony.
Tang Haiyan introduced the major breakthroughs of the university and the achievements of foreign aid training of the university in recent years. He pointed out that the two sides have established a good cooperative relationship on the implementation of foreign aid online training projects. This signing marks a more solid step in the cooperation, which will take the “The Belt and Road” high-quality development initiative as the guide, relying on their respective resources and talent advantages, and jointly make positive contributions to the development of China’s foreign aid business.
Zhang Guofeng said that China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Business School have carried out very fruitful cooperation in foreign aid training. They will continue to play to their own advantages to build a practical teaching base for foreign aid training, create high-quality courses, establish Shanghai brand, and tell Chinese stories well. He hopes that through cooperation, a bridge between China and the world can be built so that more people can see the achievements China has made in infrastructure construction.
Luo Zhisong congratulated this cooperation and he pointed out that the international business officials’ training is a useful activity to promote multilateral exchanges, injecting new vitality into China's comprehensive promotion of international cooperation, and vigorously promoting in-depth understanding and friendship between China and the trained countries.The agreement between Shanghai Business School and China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. is a win-win contract.
