At the meeting, Vice Dean Dai Ying of our college firstly informed the recent work of international students from the aspects of system construction, student teaching, student management, enrollment and scholarship declaration, and explained the next stage of work. As the Ministry of Education attaches more importance to the quality of cultivation of various talents, our College has formulated the guideline of talent cultivation program for international students of undergraduate (English-taught majors) in order to further improve the work. As the basic basis for teaching and cultivating international students, this guideline will help further standardize the education and teaching work and improve the quality of international students' cultivation.

Zhou Dejiang, the director of the base project department of our College, introduced in detail the overview, the effectiveness of foreign aid training work, the development ideas and the cooperation ideas with the five colleges of the university. Combined with the university's 14th Five-Year Plan, in order to further magnify the spillover effect of foreign aid training, it is hoped that the accumulated resources of the base can provide an important platform to support the academic construction, talent training and scientific research. The second-level colleges also had an in-depth exchange and discussion on the follow-up training course resources, teacher team building, and the holding of international forums.

Finally, Vice President He Ying summarized the meeting and gave guidance. From the perspective of international students' work, all colleges should pay attention to the graduation requirements and do a good job; they should make the talent cultivation plan for international students in different categories to ensure the cultivation quality. From the perspective of cooperation between Shanghai Base and the colleges, it is hoped that each second-level college should make full use of the advantages and actively explore resources to serve the college's talent cultivation and discipline construction.

Speech of President He

The successful holding of this meeting not only helps to promote the work of international students solidly, but also builds a platform for communication between Shanghai Base and all colleges, which will help to promote the university's foreign education cooperation in all aspects and expand the international influence of the university.
