On the evening of June 18, College of International Education successfully organized the 2021 Recruitment Interview of International Students in 6 meeting rooms on the 13th and 15th floors of Xuhui campus. The interview team is led by Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of our college, and Ms. Dai Ying,Vice Dean of our college, and composed of 12 teachers from College of Business Administration, College of Hotel Management, College of Finance and ourself. 169 international students from 34 countries were interviewed online from common sense and professional perspective through the VooV Meeting. The entire interview process is open, fair and videotaped.
In order to further improve the recruitment of international students, ensure the normal and smooth progress of the interview, and make sure the student’s quality, International Students Office has carefully designed the process, the content and evaluation methods of the interview, and carried out the test work on June 17 to keep in touch with the students. On the interview day, Ms. Dai Ying held a work arrangement meeting, emphasizing relevant precautions about the interview.

The international students who participated in the interview came from different countries. Although some countries have internet problems, due to adequate preparations and comprehensive guarantee services provided by the administration office, interviewers are able to deal with them freely, making the entire interview successfully completed. We believe that through the interview, high-quality students can be recruited to each college, and make a good start for our school’s education of international students in the new era!
