On the afternoon of October 14, Chen Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of our university’s party committee, led a delegation including Yuan Mingyu, Director of the Finance Department, Li Shuang, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department, and Fei Chen, Deputy Director of the Logistics Department, to the College of International Education and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) to conduct research and exchanges. The meeting was presided over by Chen Wei, Vice Dean of our College and Deputy Director of our Training Base. Members of the leadership team and relevant representatives of our College attended the exchange meeting.

Chen Wei extended a welcome to Secretary Chen and his party. He first introduced the basic situation of the College’s departmental setup and personnel structure, and then introduced the College’s work during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period from the perspectives of international student education and international business officer training, and the progress made by the College in the implementation of the School’s party committee decisions, the education of international students, and the training of international business officials since the two departments were jointly established. He also highlighted the basic visions of the College’s "14th Five-Year Plan", and proceeded from the actual work, expecting the School to provide strong support in terms of resources, personnel, funds, and mechanisms.

Chen Xiaofeng fully affirmed the achievements in the previous stage, and actively responded to the college’s expectations with the heads of functional departments. At the same time, he pointed out the next step of the College's work. He hoped that the College can build on the reality, look towards the future, and dare to think and act. Also, the College should make good use of policy resources, revitalize its current work, and at the same time leverage and integrate strengths to create more international characteristics, further develop the College, and provide a model for the development of SBS.
