On March 15, Lu Qixing (Deputy Director of Pudong New Area Commission of Commerce), Lin Shuya (Secretary General of Pudong International Chamber of Commerce), and the delegation visited Shanghai Business School (SBS). They were warmly received by Zhang Shaohua (Vice President of SBS) and Chen Wei [Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of International Education, Vice Executive Dean of the College, and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai)]. The three parties conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperation of Silk Road E-commerce.

On March 12, the Seminar on Geo-Economic Development between China and Brazil, jointly undertaken by the International Cooperation Division and the College of International Education of SBS, came to a successful end, with President Wu Zhong attending and delivering a speech.

On March 11, 2024, Jiang Chenglie, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone (SICDZ), led a delegation to visit SBS Fengxian Campus. They were warmly welcomed by Chen Wei, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the School of International Education of Shanghai Business School (SBS) and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), along with Professor Yin Yanhai, Director of the Department of Logistics Management of the School of Business Administration. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and promoting talent development.

On December 1st, the opening ceremony of the Advanced Seminar for Financial Leaders from the Perspective of the Belt and Road Initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by our school’s MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), was inaugurated. Liu Beimin, a researcher at the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education and Deputy Director of MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), attended the event.

On November 30th at 1:30 pm local time in Djibouti, the Overseas Seminar on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training for Djibouti, organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and hosted by our school's MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), concluded with a closing ceremony. Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College of International Education, Deka Mahmoud Gueller, founder of Djibouti Digital Electronic Health Company, and other participants were at present.

On the morning of November 24th, attendees of the "Seminar on Economic and Trade Cooperation for Developing Countries", organized by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by SBS, actively participated in the Forum on Rule of Law in Global Digital Trade.

At 9:30 am Djibouti time on November 21st, the Overseas Seminar on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training for Djibouti, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), held its opening ceremony at the Djibouti International Exhibition Center. Liang Hao, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Djibouti, Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the School of International Education, Chekhem Mohammed, Deputy General Manager of the Djibouti Leadership and Entrepreneurship Center, and others were present at the site.

The Seminar on Vocational Education Models and Technical Skills for Developing Countries, organized by Shanghai Business School, commenced successfully on Novenber 3rd. The opening ceremony, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, marked a noteworthy inauguration. On the afternoon of October 31st, the closing ceremony of Семинар по управлению зон свободной торговли и двухстороннему режиму свободной торговли между Молдавией и Китаем sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School, commenced with resounding success. Dai Ying, the executive vice dean of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, and the deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and Che Chunli，the expert representative and the associate professor at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics attended the ceremony.

On the afternoon of October 17, the “Forum on Business Models and Circulation Innovation for Developing Countries” jointly organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), the College of Business Administration and He Ying Studio of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government Decision Consulting Research Base was successfully held. He Ying, dean of "The Belt and Road" Sustainable Development Research Institute of Shanghai Business School, presided over the forum. Vice Professor Lv Jie from the College of Business Administration of Shanghai Business School, Professor Zuo Peng from the College of Business Administration of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, and CEO of Asphalt Lake Company in Trinidad and Tobago, Svedaka Matthews, delivered keynote speeches. 22 participating officials from 8 countries including Jordan, Nigeria, Rwanda, Palestine, Albania, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela attended the forum.
