On the evening of March 28, 2023 (GMT +8.00), the online opening ceremonies for the Seminar on Import and Export Trade for Developing Countries and the Seminar on Engineering Project Management for Developing Countries hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) were held online, kicking off Shanghai Business School’s 2023 annual foreign aid trainings. Mr. Fang Meng from the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Mr. Chen Wei (Executive Vice Dean of International Education College of SBS, and Vice Director of the Training Base) attended the opening ceremonies and delivered speeches.

Recently, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission announced the evaluation results of “Excellent Education Cases for International Students in Shanghai Universities”, and the case of Building an online Training Model for Foreign Aid and Promoting Common Development declared by the International Education College of SBS and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was selected as an excellent case.

In the afternoon of December 30, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Blue Economy for Zanzibar", hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), was held online. He Dongyang, Consul of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Zanzibar, Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education College, and Liao Zefang, Professor of the Research Center for the Development Strategy of Marine Industry of Shanghai Ocean University, attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

In the evening of December 22, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremonies for "Seminar on Finance for Afghanistan" and "Seminar on Youth Entrepreneurship for Developing Countries", hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), were held online respectively. On the evening of November 25, Beijing time, the 62nd lecture of SBS Forum was held online and offline by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in cooperation with the Research Office, the College of Business Administration and the College of Business and Economics. FRANCISCO LUIZ DOS SANTOS, a participant of our university’s International Business Officials Seminar, former President of the Education Commission of Recife, and Professor at the Federal University of Agriculture in Pernambuco, Brazil, gave a lecture on "The Digital Smell Market: Internet, Electronic Nose and Scent TV". Nearly 100 past participants of the International Business Officials Seminar, teachers and students from the College of Business Administration, College of Business and Economics and College of Business Information listened to the lecture online. Professor Wang Shengqiao, Director of Research Office, Associate Professor Jiao Yue, Vice Dean of College of Business Administration, Associate Professor Zhang Qi Chen, Vice Dean of College of Business and Economics attended the lecture, which was hosted by Chen Wei, Vice Dean of College of International Education.
