On September 25th, the closing ceremony of seminar on construction and management of open platforms (free trade zones, development zones, special customs supervision zones, high-tech development zones, international industrial cooperation parks & overseas economic cooperation parks) for developing countries sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School, commenced with resounding success. On September 25th, the closing ceremony of Séminaire sur le Renforcement des Capacités de Sécurité maritime pour la Tunisie sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School, commenced with resounding success. Chen Wei, executive vice dean of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, and deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) attended the ceremony, and Feng Shujun, the chief expert and researcher of the Think Tank Center of Shanghai Business School presided over.

In the afternoon of September 19, 2023, the closing ceremony for the Seminar on Railway Planning and Construction for Officials from Russian-Speaking Countries hosted by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School (SBS) were smoothly held in Room 112, Xuhui Campus, with Mr. Huangfeng (deputy director of Lifelong Education Department of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission), Mr. Chen Wei (Executive Vice Dean of the International Education College) and Ms. Meng Yanli (head of the Technology Department of the Overseas Division of China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Corporation Limited) delivering speeches at the ceremony.

On the evening of September 14, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop between Shanghai Business School and Santa Cruz, Bolivia was successfully held online. The workshop was hosted by Chen Wei, Vice Executive Dean of International Education College of SBS and deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), with Li Lizhi, deputy director of the S &T Achievement Transformation Center and S&T Cooperation Department of the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Hi-Tech Park, and Hu Yiding, director of a well-known strategic consulting company and individual investor, attending and delivering keynote speeches. On the afternoon of September 11, led by Mr. Chen Wei, Vice Executive Dean of International Education College and Vice Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), the group of the Seminar on Railway Planning and Construction for Officials from Russian-Speaking Countries undertaken by Shanghai Business School visited China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Corporation Limited (the Institute) for investigation and exchange. On September 7, 2023 (Beijing Time), the opening ceremony for the Seminar on Management of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises for Portuguese-Speaking Countries hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held smoothly. Mr. Chen Wei, Vice Executive Dean of International Education College and Vice Director of MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Mr. Zhangpeng, the expert representative and Director of Yangtze River Delta Talent Cultivation and Exchange Guidance Service Center, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of August 22, the closing ceremony of the Seminar on Public Investment and Public Financial Management for Vietnam, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School, commenced with resounding success. Dai Ying, executive vice dean of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, and deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) attended the ceremony, andthe expert representative Yang Baohua, an associate professor from Shanghai Normal University, presided over and delivered a speech.

On the evening of August 18th, the forum on financial services and cooperation in the new landscape hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and the Faculty of Professional Finance and Accountancy was successfully held. The forum was conducted both online and offline. He Ying, dean of the "Belt and Road" Sustainable Development Research Institute of Shanghai Business School, presided over the forum. Guo Raofeng, lecturer of the Faculty of Professional Finance and Accountancy of SBS, Li Shenru, assistant professor of Macau University of Science and Technology, Caesar Morello, Purchasing Manager of the National Library of Venezuela, and Zamil Hosen, deputy general manager of Bangladesh Krishna Bank, were invited to give keynote speeches. 42 participants of "Seminar on Financial Services and Cooperation for Developing Countries" from 9 countries including Ecuador, Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan, Mongolia, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela attended the forum.

On July 19th, the closing ceremony was held for Seminario de Innovación en Ciencia y Tecnología para Países Latinoamericanos sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School. On the morning of June 29, 2023, the opening ceremony for the Seminar on Science and Technology Innovation for Latin American Countries hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held smoothly. On the morning of June 29, Vice President Chen Jianfeng met with Ms. Danmarys Hernández, Viceministerio para la Comunalización de la Ciencia para la Producción and Mr. Hausilius, Assistant Minister of Science and Technology of Venezuela. Ms. Liu Beimin, Fellow Researcher from Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Mr. Chen Wei, Vice Executive Dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), also attended the meeting.

In the afternoon of June 21, 2023, the closing ceremony for the Seminar on International Logistics and Multimodal Transport hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Chen Wei (Executive Vice Dean of the International Education College in Shanghai Business School and Vice Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials) and Professor Wang Chuanxu from Shanghai Maritime University (serving as the representative of experts) delivered speeches at the ceremony.
