On the afternoon of August 7, the opening ceremony of the Seminar on Digital Transformation of Judicial Practices for Honduras, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School, was successfully held at the Caobao Road Campus.

Recently, a participant in the Training Program on International Young Talents for "Belt and Road" Countries held by Shanghai Business School on April 25, 2025, Ms. Russell, a journalist from the Bahamas, published an article in The Tribune, the country's highest-circulation print media, documenting her training experience, gains, and reflections.

On the afternoon of June 17, the opening ceremony of the Moldova Urban Planning and Sustainable Development Seminar, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Shanghai Business School, was held.

On the afternoon of June 9th, Chen Wei, Party Secretary of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School (SBS), led a delegation to visit ECADI. The delegation was received by Zha Jun, Chief Planner of ECADI, and Yang Haijian, Deputy Director of the Marketing Department. Twenty-four officials from Mauritania's Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and Land Management, Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Ministry of Commerce and Tourism participated in the event.

To deepen the understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and China's governance approach among international business officials, and to promote intellectual exchanges and cultural understanding among countries in the region, on the afternoon of June 7th, the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held a reading exchange on Xi Jinping: The Governance of China as part of the Seminar on Investment and Trade Promotion Under RCEP. The participants include Professor Fang Youlin, former Dean of the College of Humanities and Law and initiator of the "One Book a Week" program, Professor Shen Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the College of Marxism, Tang Xinhui, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Party Committee, Professor Zhou Lifang from the College of Tourism, Shanghai Normal University, and 21 international business officials from RCEP member countries including Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, and Thailand. The event was hosted by Chen Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of International Education.

The program is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of the Shanghai Business School (SBS). Liu Bin, Dean of the College of International Education of SBS and Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Tao Li, a representative expert and Associate Professor at the School of Management, Shanghai University, attended the ceremony.

The seminar was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of the Shanghai Business School (SBS). Liu Bin, Dean of the College of International Education of SBS and Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Pang Lei, Associate Professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP) of Tongji University, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

From a member of a Bahamian delegation seeking business opportunities at the Canton Fair in 2006 to a participant in the 2025 Belt and Road International Youth Talent Training Program hosted by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School (SBS), Anthony's two trips to China, spanning two decades, have witnessed the transformative journey of a developing nation. His personal experience, as an official at the Bahamas Information Services Center, serves as a timeline connecting China's remarkable progress in environmental governance, economic development, and cultural exchange, allowing the seeds of foreign aid training to take root and flourish through intercultural dialogue.

On the evening of May 27th, Beijing time, SBS held a post-seminar exchange event themed "Innovation without Borders: AI Empowering Medicine and China-Uruguay Cooperation". The event was attended by Gonzalo de León, President of the Sandu Research Center of Uruguay, Carlos de Cres, Rector of the Latin American University of Humanities and Economics (ULAEH), Edgardo Sandoja, Professor of the School of Medicine, Wang Yu, Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and 24 alumni from Spanish-speaking countries who participated in SBS foreign aid training programs. The event was moderated by Dai Ying, Vice Director of the College of International Education of SBS and the Ministry of Commerce Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai).

On the afternoon of May 17th, the Seminar on Applying E-Port Solutions to Strengthen Supply Chain Interconnectivity and Upgrade Trade Facilitation Standards —hosted by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and undertaken by Shanghai Business School (SBS)—was invited to participate in a sharing session at the "AI+ Education Shared Space Station" of the 22nd Shanghai Education Expo. Twenty-six international business officials from seven countries—Bangladesh, Fiji, Grenada, Laos, Moldova, Montenegro, and Nigeria—attended the meeting. Agan Aniyom Eyoma, an entrepreneur in the aviation and logistics sector from Nigeria, and Daiana Lisa Waitawa, a human resources official from the Fiji Municipal Hall, delivered speeches as representatives of the participants.

On May 12th, a joint graduation ceremony was held for two seminars: the Seminar on Engineering Project Management for Developing Countries and the Seminar on Construction and Management of Development Zone for Sri Lanka. Both seminars were sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School (SBS). At a crucial stage in the continuous advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, to deepen people-to-people exchanges and cooperation among Belt and Road countries and to foster a deeper understanding among international youth talents of China's local development practices, from May 6th to 10th, Shanghai Business School organized a training program for 18 trainees from seven Belt and Road countries—Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Gambia, Grenada, and Uzbekistan—to conduct in-depth exploration and learning in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, focusing on industrial innovation, green development, cultural heritage, and rural revitalization.
