On the evening of September 8, 2021 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Currency and Bank Management for Portuguese-Speaking Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Fang Meng from Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Ms. Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended theceremony.

At 7 pm on September 6, the forum on financial development under the changing environments was successfully held by our university. The forumwas conducted in a combination of offline and online. Vice President HeYing presided over the forum. Wu Wenfeng, Professor and Associate Dean of the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Ruan Qingsong, Professor and Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, Xia Huasheng, Assistant to the President of Bank of China Brazil Branch and Visiting Professor of Finance at Sao Paulo Business School,and José Teixeira, Vice Chairmanof the Union of Financial Institutions and Credit Risk Analyst at the Economic Bank of Cape Verde, made the keynote speech. Associate Professor Wu Jun of our university, Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of theCollege of International Education of our university, and all participating officials from Seminar on Currency and Bank Management forPortuguese-Speaking Countries attended the forum.

On the afternoon of September 2, 2021(GMT+8), the Opening Ceremony for " Seminar on Currency and Bank Management for French-speaking African Countries " hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Ms. Liu Beimin, Researcher with Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended the opening ceremony.

Recently, mainstream news media in Panama, such as La Gaceta, El DigitalPanamá, 180gradospty, Frecuencia Informativa, etc., reported the Seminar on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Management in Latin America, Caribbean Countries and South Pacific Region hosted by Ministryof Commerce and organized by our university and reposted it on Instagram. The Seminar was successfully held online from August 19th to September 1st, and was unanimously affirmed by all the participants.
