Recently,Mr. Martin Piovano Andriolo, the participant in the 2018 Seminar on Trade and Investment for Latin American and Caribbean Countries (Spanish) and Executive Director of Uruguay MPA Consulting Company, senta letter to MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials(Shanghai) of our university to congratulate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

At 8:00 am, June 25 on Beijing time, more than 30 government officials of Ministry of Public Works from the Bahamas, gathered in the cloud to participate in the online China-Bahamas Sponge City Construction and Technology Sharing Forum organized by Ministry of Public Works of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and our university. Mr. Desmond Thomas Bannister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Works of the Bahamas, Ms. Dai Qingli, Ambassador of China to the Bahamas, Ms. He Ying, Vice President of our university and Ms. Dai Ying, Vice Dean of our college attended the forum and delivered speeches.

On June 10, an investigation group led by Mr. Huang Minjie, 1st level Investigator of Department of Administrative Politics and Law of Ministry of Finance, Ms. Gui Yun, 2nd level Inspector of Foreign Aid Division of Ministry of Commerce and Ms. Du Zhaojun, Director of Foreign Aid Training Liaison Office of Training Center of Ministry of Commerce visited Shanghai Business School (SBS) to investigate online foreign aid training.

On the morning of May 28, 2021 (GMT+8), the Opening Ceremony for the Seminar on Financial Cooperation for Spanish-Speaking Countries was held online. This Seminar was sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai). Mr. Liu Rutao，Vice President of Academy for International Business Officials, Mr. Duan Weihua，Deputy Division Chief of Academy for International Business Officials, Mr. Chen Feng，Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ecuador, Mr. Dong Wei Counselor of the Embassy of the P.R. China in Colombia, Mr. Ji Xiaofeng，Counselor of the Embassy of the P.R. China in Chile, and Mr. Chen Jianfeng，Vice President of Shanghai Business School， attended the Opening Ceremony and delivered speeches. On the evening of May 26, the Completion Ceremony of the Seminar on Management and Application of Modern Rail Transportation for Developing Countries was held online. This Seminar was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai). Ms. Liu Beimin,a researcher from Division of International Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Mr. Gong Lian ,Deputy Dean of China Railway Shanghai Design Institute Group Co., LTD. and Mr. Chen Wei, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base(Shanghai),attended the Ceremony and delivered speeches.

For the purpose of strengthening the external cooperation and exchanges of MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Training Base”) and enriching its training modes and training resources, a delegation led by Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of College of International Education and Deputy Director of Shanghai Training Base, visited Ruijin Cadre Academy in Jiangxi Province on April 12~14. The delegation was warmly received by Pan Jiugen, Deputy Dean of Ruijin Cadre Academy. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges about training status, program features, future cooperation plans, etc.
