On the afternoon of July 22, Deputy Dean Zhang Xiaoyan of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade and her delegation conducted research and exchanges on foreign aid training at SBS.Chen Wei, the secretary and the executive vice dean of the College of International Education, and deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and Dai Ying, the executive vice dean of the College of International Education, Shanghai Business School and deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai)as well as staff in charge of the project department of MOFCOM Training Base, attended the research and exchange meeting.

On June 19th, the opening ceremony for the Seminar on Human Resource Management for Tanzania was inaugurated successfully. Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and executed by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, the event commenced smoothly. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education at SBS and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base, along with Liu Lei, Executive Vice President of the China Human Resource Management Research Association, graced the ceremony with their presence and provided keynote addresses.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the College of International Education hosted a career planning, case sharing, and experience exchange session for international students at SBS. Career education plays a crucial role in the professional development of international students, providing insights into the supply and demand dynamics of China’s job market. The session aimed to assist international students in formulating scientific and rational career plans, ultimately facilitating their attainment of high-quality employment opportunities.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the College of International Education hosted a Chinese Salon for international students, centering around the cultural significance of Chinese characters. This event delved into the origins and historical evolution of Chinese characters, which stand as a vital conduit of Chinese civilization and the only ancient writing system still in use today. These characters are crucial markers of humanity’s transition into the age of civilization, enabling people from different nations to comprehend diverse histories and cultures, thereby serving as a foundation for cultural heritage across civilizations.
