On the afternoon of October 17, Shanghai Business School (SBS) and Guangxi Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Guangxi Tourism Group”) held a signing ceremony in Nanning, Guangxi Province, to formalize a new strategic partnership. Chen Wei (Moderator), Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of SBS and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Huang Rong, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Tourism Group’s Strategic Investment Department, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The event was attended by Zhu Ruijun, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Nanguo Sports Investment Group Co., Ltd., other key executives of Guangxi Tourism Group’s subsidiaries, and 25 foreign participants from the Seminar on Tourism Management for Tunisia hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Shanghai Business School.

On the afternoon of October 17, the Seminar for Audit Officials from Tanzania, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by Shanghai Business School, visited the Smart Taxation Experience Center of Jiangsu. Welcomed by Chang Yongtao, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Yangzhou Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, the delegation of 15 Tanzanian officials engaged in this guided tour.

On the afternoon of October 11, the opening ceremony of the Seminar on Green Development and International Cooperation for Developing Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. The event was honored by the presence of Chen Wei, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Ms. Zhu Ting, Associate Professor of the School of Economics of Shanghai University, both of whom delivered insightful speeches.

On the morning of October 11, the opening ceremony for the Seminar on Cross-border E-commerce Supply Chain and Overseas Warehouse for Belt and Road Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. The ceremony was honored by the attendance of Mr. Chen Wei, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Ms. Lin Shuya, Vice President and Secretary- General of the Shanghai Pudong International Chamber of Commerce, both of whom delivered keynote speeches.

On the morning of September 20, the opening ceremony of the Ministerial Workshop on Urban Planning and Construction for Developing Countries sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School was commenced with great success. Shen Weilai, the Director of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Chen Wei, the director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the morning of August 21, the opening ceremony of Семинар по антимонопольному регулированию и регулированию деятельности товарных бирж в Узбекистане, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. Chen Wei, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Wang Bo, Director of the MIB Education Center at the School of International Trade and Economics, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of August 21, the online opening ceremony of الدورة التدريبية لإدارة العملات والمصارف للدول العربية, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. The ceremony featured speeches by Zhou Jihong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of International Education, and Zhang Hui, Associate Professor at the School of Finance, Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance.

On the morning of August 20, the opening ceremony of the Seminar on Urbanization fro Developing Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. The event was honored by the presence of Dai Ying, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Associate Professor Pang Lei from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, both of whom delivered insightful speeches.

On the morning of August 15, the opening ceremony of the Seminar on Addressing Trade Barriers for Latin American Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. The event featured speeches by Ms. Dai Ying, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and Mr. Fang Meng, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation at the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.

On the morning of August 15, participants of the Seminar on Financial Management for Uganda, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, visited Moore Accounting Firm in Changchun City for an exchange and study session. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Zhu Jian, Director of the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation at the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province, and Mr. Jiang Jinming, Director of General Office at Moore Accounting Firm. The visit aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of financial management practices in China and to foster the exchange of financial management expertise between China and Uganda.

On the afternoon of July 31, the closing ceremony for the Seminar on International Criminal Justice Cooperation for Developing Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, took place. The event was presided over by Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), and attended by Fan Haiying, Associate Professor at Shanghai University of Political Science nd Law, both of whom delivered speeches.

On July 30, the closing ceremony for the Seminar on Youth Employment and Development for Belt and Road Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) at Shanghai Business School, took place. The event was attended by Ms. Dai Ying, Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and Vice Dean of the College of International Education, and Dr. Zhai Wei, Associate Professor at the School of Economic Law of East China University of Political Science and Law, who both delivered speeches.
