On the morning of August 27, the delegation of Seminar on Financial Cooperation in Uganda, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School, visited the Jilin Branch of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CPIC Jilin Branch") for exchange, and had in-depth discussions focusing on the development status and future trends of the insurance industry. Twenty-five officials from Ugandan government departments, including the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, the Office of the President, the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), and the Bank of Uganda, attended the event. They were accompanied by Xi Yubin, Vice Dean of the College of Shanghai Lausanne Hospitality Management.

On the afternoon of August 28, 2025, the College of International Education, leveraging the “Business Charm Silk Road” brand, organized international students from Shanghai Business School to participate in an online summer travel city sharing and exchange event.

On the afternoon of August 19, the Opening Ceremony of the Seminar on Civil Judicial Assistance Practices in Uzbekistan and China, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School, was successfully held at the Caobao Road Campus. Chen Wei, Secretary of the Direct Party Branch of the College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, and Zhai Wei, Associate Professor at the School of Economic Law of East China University of Political Science and Law, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

Recently, Nodirbek Ibrokhimov, a doctoral student from the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Uzbekistan, successfully completed the "2025 Shanghai Summer School" training program hosted by Shanghai Business School. During the four-week immersive program, this young international student from Central Asia not only gained a systematic understanding of the latest trends in the global tourism industry but also, through in-depth visits and practical experiences, personally witnessed Shanghai's innovative vitality and dynamic development as an international tourism hub.

The Completion Ceremony of the 2025 Shanghai Summer School (International Workshop on Tourism and Hospitality Management) was held on the morning of August 11, 2025, at the Future Digital Intelligence Teaching Center on the 5th floor of the Caobao Road Campus of Shanghai Business School. Twenty international students in tourism and hospitality management from three countries, including Armenia, Russia, and Uzbekistan, completed the course study with fruitful results.

On the morning of August 7, the Seminar on Scientific and Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Arab States, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School, officially opened at the Caobao Road Campus. The opening ceremony was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, bringing together 31 government officials and heads of universities and research institutions from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine. Chen Wei, Secretary of the Direct Party Branch of the College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

On the afternoon of August 7, the opening ceremony of the Seminar on Digital Transformation of Judicial Practices for Honduras, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and organized by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) of Shanghai Business School, was successfully held at the Caobao Road Campus.

Recently, a participant in the Training Program on International Young Talents for "Belt and Road" Countries held by Shanghai Business School on April 25, 2025, Ms. Russell, a journalist from the Bahamas, published an article in The Tribune, the country's highest-circulation print media, documenting her training experience, gains, and reflections.

On June 20 and 23, 2025, the College of International Education successfully carried out the 2025 international student enrollment interview. This interview was led by Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College of International Education, and a diversified team of examiners was set up, composed of professional teachers from the School of Business Administration, the College of Hospitality Management, the College of Business and Economics, the School of Business Information, along with staff from the Office of International Student Affairs.

On the afternoon of June 17, the opening ceremony of the Moldova Urban Planning and Sustainable Development Seminar, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Shanghai Business School, was held.

The 2025 graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremony of Shanghai Business School (SBS) was grandly held in the main venue of Hall 146, Fengpu Campus, and simultaneously streamed online and offline to various branch venues and global live streaming platforms. School Party Secretary Shen Daming, President Wu Zhong, Deputy Party Secretary Chen Xiaofeng, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee Zhang Jie, Vice President Zhang Shaohua, and other members of the school leadership team were all present to guide and witness this momentous occasion. Deans of various schools, heads of functional departments, student representatives, and parent representatives also participated in this grand event, witnessing this solemn moment. Sixty-nine international students from 24 countries around the world joined their domestic counterparts in celebrating this milestone, marking the successful completion of their academic exploration and cross-cultural experiences in the field of business.

On the afternoon of June 9th, Chen Wei, Party Secretary of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School (SBS), led a delegation to visit ECADI. The delegation was received by Zha Jun, Chief Planner of ECADI, and Yang Haijian, Deputy Director of the Marketing Department. Twenty-four officials from Mauritania's Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and Land Management, Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Ministry of Commerce and Tourism participated in the event.
