In the evening of December 21, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremonies for the Seminar on Construction and Management of Open Platforms (Free Trade Zones, Development Zones, Special Customs Supervision Zones, High-Tech Development Zones, International Industrial Cooperation Parks & Overseas Economic Cooperation Parks) for Developing Countries and the Seminar on Media Talent Training for Angola (Curso de Formação dos Talentos da Mídia de Angola) hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education College, attended both ceremonies and delivered speeches. Expert representatives, Associate Professor Pang Lei from Tongji University and Associate Professor Chen Yasai from Shanghai Normal University attended the corresponding ceremonies and both delivered speeches.

In the afternoon of December 19, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening ceremony for Seminar on Blue Economy for Zanzibar hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Zhang Zhisheng (Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Zanzibar), Dr. Aboud S Jumbe (Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries, Zanzibar, Tanzania), and Ms. He Ying (Vice President of SBS) attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. In the afternoon of December 14, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening ceremony for the Seminar on Finance for Afghanistan hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Fang Meng, from Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education College of SBS attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, December 6, 2022, the College of International Education held a sharing session on Marvelous Chinese Sports for Chinese and international students from all over the world, introducing the unique and popular sports in Chinese history sports. Through the exchange, the sports spirit is promoted, and the concept of “sports can enhance physical fitness and change life” is transmitted to the international students, guiding them to integrate the sports culture of self-control and self-improvement into their life and studies.

Liu Beimin, Researcher of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education College attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the morning of December 23, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for “Seminar on Infrastructure Planning and Project Management for Samoa” hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of International Education College and Li Jin， Expert representative, professor senior engineer of Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the morning of December 1, 2022, College of International Education of Shanghai Business School held a routine meeting on international student education in Xuhui 1501 conference room. Vice President He Ying, teaching deans in charge of international student work, class teachers/counselors of international students in second-level colleges, and relevant personnel from the College of International Education attended the meeting through online or offline form, which was presided over by Chen Wei, Vice Dean of our College.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the College of International Education held an online exchange event for international students from all over the world with the theme of sharing China’s great artists and brilliant thinkers. The event introduced the representative philosophers and accomplished artists in their respective fields during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods of China, disseminated Chinese culture to international students, enhanced friendship between Chinese and international students, and presented a unique and wonderfully charming China to them.

On the evening of November 28, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Financial Accounting and Management for Officials from Developing Countries" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and jointly organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China (SSFERTC) was held online. Liu Yinan, President of SSFERTC, Chen Wei, Vice Dean of the College of International Education of SBS, and Liu Ting, Associate Professor of the Beijing Technology and Business University, attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the evening of November 25, Beijing time, the 62nd lecture of SBS Forum was held online and offline by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in cooperation with the Research Office, the College of Business Administration and the College of Business and Economics. FRANCISCO LUIZ DOS SANTOS, a participant of our university’s International Business Officials Seminar, former President of the Education Commission of Recife, and Professor at the Federal University of Agriculture in Pernambuco, Brazil, gave a lecture on "The Digital Smell Market: Internet, Electronic Nose and Scent TV". Nearly 100 past participants of the International Business Officials Seminar, teachers and students from the College of Business Administration, College of Business and Economics and College of Business Information listened to the lecture online. Professor Wang Shengqiao, Director of Research Office, Associate Professor Jiao Yue, Vice Dean of College of Business Administration, Associate Professor Zhang Qi Chen, Vice Dean of College of Business and Economics attended the lecture, which was hosted by Chen Wei, Vice Dean of College of International Education.

On the evening of November 22, 2022 (GMT+8), the Forum on Cases of Business Model Innovation in the Context of Digital Economy , co-organized by the College of Economy of our university and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was successfully held online and offline. Liu Shouying, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Economics, Renmin University of China, Dr. Shen Huaxia from the College of Business and Economics, Shanghai Business School, and Manilat Kim Bong-shin, Director of the Department of Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Communications of Laos, made keynote speeches respectively. Associate Professor Zhang Qichen, Vice Dean of the College of Business and Economics of SBS presided over the forum.
