In order to effectively promote the work of international students and enhance the space for international exchange and cooperation, on the morning of June 24, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) organized the international students working meeting and the Shanghai Base Serves Shanghai Business School Talent Cultivation Cooperation Exchange Meeting, Vice President He Ying, the deans in charge of international students in each second-level college, and relevant personnel from the College of International Education attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Wei, the vice dean of our College, in Conference Room 1504 on Xuhui Campus.

On the evening of June 22, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening ceremonies for Seminar on Trade Promotion for Belt and Road Countries and Seminar for State-Owned Enterprise Executives of Developing Countries hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) were held online. Liu Beimin, investigator of the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, He Ying, vice president of Shanghai Business School and Feng Shujun, chief expert and researcher of the Think Tank Center of SBS attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of June 21, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Trade and Investment Facilitation for Madagascar" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School, and Professor Yao Weiqun, Executive Dean of the International Trade Center Strategic Research Institute of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of June 21, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held the first meeting of all faculty and staff after the resumption of the epidemic in Conference Room 1503 of Xuhui Campus. This meeting mainly conveyed the recent work points of the university, informed and deployed to promote the recent work of the college. Vice Dean Chen Wei, Vice Dean Dai Ying and all the staff attended the meeting, which was presided over by Vice Dean Chen Wei.

On the evening of June 17, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening ceremony for "Seminar on International Criminal Justice Cooperation for Developing Countries" and "Seminar on Engineering Management for Developing Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Vice President He Ying and Professor Xu Ming from Donghua University attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of June 15, the first batch of 2022 international students admission interview organized by the College of International Education was successfully held in Xuhui Campus. Chen Wei and Dai Ying, Deputy Deans of the College, led the teams through the Tencent conference platform. Five key teachers from our college and professional teachers from the College of Business Administration and the College of Hotel Management worked in pairs as the interview admission examiners. The admission qualification and comprehensive quality of foreign students are assessed from the perspectives of language ability, learning attitude, personal ability, professionalism and impression of China. A total of 71 international students from 32 countries participated in the interview. The entire process is videotaped to ensure openness and fairness.

On June 13, 2022, our College held an online conference for international students. 15 foreign students from the College of Hotel Management, the College of Business and Economics, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Finance participated in the activity. The leaders of our College and all the teachers of the International Students Office attended the meeting.

On the evening of June 10, Beijing time, Zhang Jin, visiting professor of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and deputy director and associate professor of the African Studies Center of Shanghai Normal University, gave an online lecture on "The Belt and Road Initiative and the Path of China-Ethiopia Cooperation". The event was co-hosted by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and the School of Development Studies of Addis Ababa University from Ethiopia, and was presided over by Teshome Tafesse Beyene, visiting professor of our university and associate professor of the School of Development Studies of Addis Ababa University. Tesfaye Zeleke，Dean of the School of Development Studies of Addis Ababa Universit，Chen Wei and Dai Ying, Vice Deans of the College of International Education, doctoral students and researchers of the School of Development Studies of Addis Ababa University, and some of the participants of our previous foreign aid training projects from English-speaking African countries attended the event.

On the afternoon of June 8, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening Ceremony for "Seminar on Trade and Investment Facilitation for Madagascar" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. In order to continuously promote the quality of the construction of our exemplary English-taught courses for international students, the College of International Education organized an online meeting of the 2022 Shanghai Business School exemplary English-taught courses for international students construction project and a training session on the same topic on the afternoon of June 2. Chen Wei and Dai Ying, Vice Deans of our College, 8 course leaders from the College of Finance and Finance, the College of Hotel Management, the College of Business Administration and the College of Business and Economics, and relevant personnel attended this meeting. Professor Zeng Fenyu, director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation of Shanghai Electric University, gave a lecture for this course construction training as an invited expert. The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Dai Ying.

At 4:00 pm on May 31, 2022, the College of International Education held a exchange meeting for international student counselors, aiming to improve their policy level and implementation ability. Vice Dean Chen Wei and Dai Ying, all staff of the International Students Office, and counselors/class teachers from the colleges such as the College of Business Administration, the College of Hotel Management and the College of Finance and Economics attended the training meeting.

In order to complete the international student management at the end of the semester, the College of International Education took the lead to organize an online working meeting on the morning of May 27th. Vice President He Ying, the deans in charge of international student work in each college, the counselors of international students in each college, the teaching secretaries and relevant personnel from our College attended the meeting, which was presided by Vice Dean Chen Wei.
