On the morning of July 26, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening Ceremony for "Seminar on China-Latin America Trade and Economic Cooperation and Investment" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Fang Meng from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Mr. Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School and Mr. Feng Shujun, chief expert of Think Tank Center, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the evening of July 20th (Beijing time), the forum "Finance Development in the Post-epidemic Era: Opportunities and Challenges" hosted by our university was successfully held. The forum was conducted in a combined online and offline manner, with Vice President He Ying presiding over the forum. Jiang Hai, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics of Jinan University, Liu Gongrun, Deputy Dean of CEIBS Lujiazui Institute of International Finance, and Deolinda Kiddy C. Oman, Technical Director of the Payment System of the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe, delivered keynote speeches. Dai Ying, Deputy Dean of the College of International Education, and 68 participating officials from the relevant departments of the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank and the National Bureau of Statistics of Angola, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe attended the forum.

In order to do well in the evaluation of our university's 2022 foreign student scholarship, on the afternoon of July 20, the College of International Education convened the Shanghai Business School International Student Scholarship Evaluation Committee to hold this year's foreign student scholarship evaluation meeting in an online and offline mode. The meeting was chaired by Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of our College.Dai Ying, Vice Dean of our college firstly introduced to the members of the evaluation committee about the allocation of funds for international student scholarship and government scholarship for foreign students of SBS this year, the relevant requirements of the Education Commission, the annual evaluation opinions of relative colleges, the application materials of new students and the interview assessment.

On the evening of July 13, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening Ceremony for "Seminar on Monetary and Banking Management for Portuguese Speaking Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Liu Beimin, investigator of the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Dai Ying, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School and Xu Ming, professor of Donghua University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On July 14, the Shanghai Municipal Government held a symposium on B&R enterprises going global in Shanghai. Vice Mayor Zong Ming attended and delivered a speech. The heads of relevant commissions and some "going global" enterprises participated in the symposium, which was presided over by Gu Jun, director of the Municipal Commission of Commerce. During the ceremony, Chen Wei, Deputy Dean of theCollege of International Education of SBS, and Tang Yanhua, Executive Vice President of the Training Center of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), signed the contract on behalf of Shanghai Business School and COMAC Training Center respectively.

In order to continuously promote the high-quality and connotative development of the construction of demonstrative English courses for international students, the College of International Education took the lead in organizing the acceptance review meeting of the 2021 Shanghai Business School University-level demonstrative English courses international students construction project on July 7 in combing online and offline way. Ouyang Meihe, Director of International Exchange Office of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Zeng Fenyu, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office of Shanghai Electric Power University, and Chen Yili, Director of International Students Office of Tongji University attended the meeting as review experts. Five course leaders from the College of Finance and the College of Hotel Management of SBS, as well as relevant personnel from the International Students Office of our College attended the review meeting, which was hosted by Dai Ying, Deputy Dean of our College.

On the evening of July 7, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremonies for "Seminar on International Criminal Justice Cooperation for Developing Countries" and "Seminar on Engineering Management for Developing Countries" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) were held online. Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School attended the ceremonies and delivered speeches. Mi Jinhong, Associate Professor from the College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Maritime University also made remark on behalf of all the experts.

On the afternoon of June 8, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening ceremonies for 3 seminars, namely, Seminar on Management and Application of Modern Rail Transit for Developing Countries, Seminar on Maritime Transport Management for Developing Countries, Seminar on Business Trade Investment and Risk Management for Developing Countries, hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) were held online. Fang Meng from the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School attended the opening ceremony. Feng Shujun, chief expert and researcher of the Think Tank Center of SBS, Xu Ming, professor of Donghua University, and Yao Weiqun, Executive Dean of the Strategic Research Institute of the International Trade Center of SUIBE, delivered speeches as expert representatives.

In order to effectively promote the work of international students and enhance the space for international exchange and cooperation, on the morning of June 24, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) organized the international students working meeting and the Shanghai Base Serves Shanghai Business School Talent Cultivation Cooperation Exchange Meeting, Vice President He Ying, the deans in charge of international students in each second-level college, and relevant personnel from the College of International Education attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Wei, the vice dean of our College, in Conference Room 1504 on Xuhui Campus.

On the afternoon of June 21, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Trade and Investment Facilitation for Madagascar" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School, and Professor Yao Weiqun, Executive Dean of the International Trade Center Strategic Research Institute of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of June 21, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held the first meeting of all faculty and staff after the resumption of the epidemic in Conference Room 1503 of Xuhui Campus. This meeting mainly conveyed the recent work points of the university, informed and deployed to promote the recent work of the college.
