At 4:00 pm on May 31, 2022, the College of International Education held a exchange meeting for international student counselors, aiming to improve their policy level and implementation ability. Vice Dean Chen Wei and Dai Ying, all staff of the International Students Office, and counselors/class teachers from the colleges such as the College of Business Administration, the College of Hotel Management and the College of Finance and Economics attended the training meeting.

In order to complete the international student management at the end of the semester, the College of International Education took the lead to organize an online working meeting on the morning of May 27th. Vice President He Ying, the deans in charge of international student work in each college, the counselors of international students in each college, the teaching secretaries and relevant personnel from our College attended the meeting, which was presided by Vice Dean Chen Wei.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 24, the College of International Education held an online event "Experience the beauty of Chinese festivals" for international students from all over the world. The event introduced Chinese festivals and their interesting stories, spread Chinese culture, enhanced the friendship, and helped international students understand the wonderful Chinese culture, history, customs and other aspects.

On the afternoon of May 12, in order to promote the implementation of this year's foreign aid training projects, deepen cooperation and exchanges, and improve the quality of foreign aid training, our college held the project cooperation exchange meeting on the theme of "Economic and Trade" for foreign aid training with Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai（CPIT Shanghai）. Chen Wei, Vice Dean of our college and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), Chen Hong, Director of Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Deputy Director Di Rong, and related personnel from both sides attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of May 11, 2022, College of International Education held a Moving Together online activity with the theme of "Fitness at home, wonderful you and me" for international students.

On the afternoon of May 7, in order to further strengthen foreign cooperation and exchanges, expand foreign aid training resources, and improve the quality of foreign aid training, our college held a conference on the theme of "Youth Entrepreneurship" for foreign aid training with Shanghai Youth Cadre Management College (Shanghai Youth League School). Zhu Hong, Vice President of Shanghai Youth Management Cadre College, heads of Youth Foreign Exchange Training Department and Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Department, Chen Wei, Vice Dean of our college and Deputy Director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai), relevant staff of the College Office and Training Project Department participated in the activity.

On the afternoon of May 5, 2022 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Capacity Building for Judicial and Law Enforcement Officials of the Philippines" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Liu Beimin, investigator of the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the afternoon of April 29, the evaluation meeting of the project on the construction and optimization of professional standards for continuing education in Shanghai universities, entrusted by the Lifelong Education Administration Office of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and implemented by the Lifelong Learning Development and Evaluation Research Center of Shanghai Business School, was successfully held. Director Yan Pengtao and Deputy Director Huang Feng of the Lifelong Education Administration Office of SEC, and other research group members attended the meeting. Six experts from Tongji University, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai International Studies University, South China Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, and Xianda College of Economics and Humanities of Shanghai International Studies University were also invited as members of the evaluation team. Due to the epidemic situation, the meeting was conducted online and was chaired by Chen Wei, Vice Dean of our College and Director of the Lifelong Learning Development and Evaluation Research Center of SBS.

On the morning of April 22, 2022 (GMT+8), the opening Ceremony for "Seminar on Capacity Building for Judicial and Law Enforcement Officials of the Philippines" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Liu Beimin, investigator of the Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

On the afternoon of April 15, Deputy Director Chen Runyun of the International Business Officials Training Institute of the Ministry of Commerce and heads of six international business training bases across the country including Fujian Foreign Economic Cooperation Center, Jiangxi Foreign Language and Foreign Trade Vocational College, Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce Business Training Center, Hunan Foreign Trade Vocational College, Shanghai Business School and Yunnan International Economics and Technology Exchange Center (hereinafter referred to as "base units"), held video conferences and deployed foreign aid training work. The department heads of the above-mentioned base units, the Foreign Aid Training Liaison Office, the Foreign Aid Training Project Management Division I, and the Foreign Aid Training Program Management Division II attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of April 19th, our college organized a Lin-Movie movie sharing session for international students with the theme of "The world in movies". By introducing the wonderful films that were huge box-office successes and won public praise in China, this sharing session showed the rapid development of China's Olympic Games, aerospace and technology from a film perspective, and presented a unique and touching beautiful China to international students.

In order to implement various tasks during the quasi-closed management period, on the morning of April 15, the International Education College took the lead in organizing an online conference on the management of international students. Vice President He Ying, the deans in charge of international student work in each college and relevant personnel from our college attended the conference, which was presided over by Chen Wei, Executive vice dean of our college.
