According to the needs of Shanghai's epidemic prevention and control work and the specific arrangement of the university, the International Education College immediately activated the emergency response mechanism and fully transferred to online teaching. During this period, all colleges and departments cooperated with each other and all teachers and students worked closely to actively cope with the situation and overcome the difficulties together to ensure that the daily teaching and student management services were smooth and orderly under the situation, and strive to minimize the epidemic impact on the education.

On the afternoon of March 23, in order to ensure the orderly work during the quasi-closed management period of the campus, 2022 spring semester online teaching seminar for international students was successfully held via Tencent conference platform. Vice President He Ying, deans in charge of international student work in each second-level college and relevant personnel from International Education College attended the meeting, which was presided over by Chen Wei, Executive vice dean of International Education College. Vice Dean Dai Ying informed the participants about the general situation, the problems of online teaching and tips for the next stage of international student work.

In order to ensure the effective implementation of various tasks for international students in the new semester and to solidly promote the work related to international students in the spring, on the morning of March 3, our university's 2022 Spring Semester International Student Education Work Conference was successfully held in the third conference room of the comprehensive building of Fengxian Campus. The Academic Affairs Office, the Student Office, the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Center, the person in charge of the Information Office, the deans of thesecondary colleges in charge of international students, the academic secretaries and class teachers (advisors), and the relevant personnel ofthe International Education College attended the meeting. On the afternoon of February 22, the College of International Education and the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held the First Faculty Meeting of New Semester in Conference Room 1504 of Xuhui Campus. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College, Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College and all staff membersattended the meeting, which was chaired by Chen Wei.

On the morning of January 6, the 2022 International Education Work Conference and the third stage of the Party History Learning and Education “Doing Things for the Masses” organized by the College of International Education was successfully held in Conference Room 703 of Fengpu Campus. Executive Vice Dean Chen Wei hosted the event and Vice Dean Dai Ying summarized the international education work in 2021 and the work arrangements for the next stage. The directors from the Academic Affairs Office, the Student Office, the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Center, the deans in charge of international student affairs of related college, the academic secretaries and class teachers, and the relevant staff of the International Education College attended the event. In the end, Vice President He Ying put forward specific requirements and expectations for the international education work of our university.

On the evening of December 23, 2021 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Management for Portuguese-Speaking Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

On the afternoon of December 22, 2021 (Beijing time), the closing ceremony for Seminar on the Development Prospects of High Technology (How to Incubate and Cultivate Industries) for Malaysia sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) washeld online. Madam He Ying, Vice President of Shanghai Business School,made a summary of the program on behalf of SBS, and Mr. Li Taikang, CEOof the Malaysia-China Business Council, issued the course-completion certificates to the participants. Mr. Yu Jun, Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, Mr. Chen Runyun, Vice President of the Academy for International Business Officials, MOFCOM, Ms. Duan Weihua, Dean of the Second Department of Foreign Aid Training Project Management, Mr. Luo Zhisong, Chief Economist of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Ms. Liu Beimin, Researcher of Divisionof Foreign Economic Cooperation, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of SBS, attended the ceremony.

On the evening of December 17, International Academic Forum on Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects of Business Education in the Post-epidemic Era hosted by the College of International Education of our university was successfully held. On the morning of December 14, the College of International Education and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai)held a Debriefing and Appraisal Meeting of the Leading Bodies in Conference Room 1501 of the Xuhui Campus. On the afternoon of December 14, 2021, our college invited the Voice of the Sea Recitation Association and domestic international students of Shanghai Business School to jointly carry out a poem recitation activity. Due to the epidemic, the event was held online and a total of 84 international students from South Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan and othercountries participated online.
