On the afternoon of November 24th, 2021, the General Meeting of the SAEA(Shanghai Adult Education Association) Educational Academy Special Committee (also the Credit Bank Working Meeting) were successfully held on the Xuhui campus of Shanghai Business School (SBS). Due to the needs of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, this Meeting was conducted both online and offline. Those attended the Meeting include Mr. Chen Jianfeng (Vice President of SBS), Ms. Xu Lu (Deputy Director, General ofthe Higher Continuing Education Division, Department of Vocational and Adult Education, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China), Mr. Yan Pengtao (Director, General of the Lifelong Education Division, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission), Mr. Chen Haijian (Director of Shanghai Lifelong Education Credit Bank Management Center),Mr. Zou Yi (Vice President of Shanghai Adult Education Association), and the heads of more than 50 units in Shanghai [incl. the continuing education departments of regular higher learning institutions (such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University and others) and independent adult colleges]. On the morning of November 11, 2021(GMT+8), the Opening Ceremony for "Seminar on Trade Promotion for Portuguese-speaking countries" hosted byMinistry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Ms. Liu Beimin, Researcher with Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

On the morning of November 10, 2021(GMT+8), the Opening Ceremony for "Seminar on Currency and Banking Management in Latin America, the Caribbean and South Pacific Region" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Ms. Liu Beimin, Researcher with Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended the opening ceremony.

On the evening of November 9, 2021 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for " Seminar on Trade Promotion for Belt and Road Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Fang Meng, from Foreign Economics and Cooperation Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended theceremony.

On the morning of November 8, 2021 (GMT+8), the closing ceremony for "Seminar on Infrastructure Planning and Construction for Panama " hostedby Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

Onthe evening of October 29, Beijing time, the 47th lecture of SBS Forum hosted by Scientific Research Office of our university, co-organized by College of Hotel Management and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) was successfully held. Mr. Edwin Ragos Enrile, guest professor of our university and Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Philippines, gave a lecture on the topic of "Introduction to Philippine Tourism: Policy, Management and Recovery".The forum was conducted both online and offline,and has the main venue in Xuhui Campus and the branch venue in Fengxian Campus.Vice President He Ying, Dean Jiang Hong and Vice Dean Fu Quansheng of the College of Hotel Management, Vice Dean Chen Wei and Vice Dean Dai Ying of the College of International Education, Xi Yubin from the College of Shanghai Lausanne Hospitality Management, representatives of teachers and students from the College of Hotel Management, and representatives of international students attended the forum.

On the morning of October 25, 2021(GMT+8), the Closing Ceremony for "Seminar on Infrastructure Construction for Latin American Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base forInternational Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of International Education of our university, and Ms. Zhang Wen, Deputy Director of the Training Base Project Department attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Onthe evening of October 21, Beijing time, the "Sustainable Financial Development" forum hosted by our university was successfully held. The forum was conducted both online and offline, and Vice President He Ying presided over the forum. Sun Yi, Chief Operating Officer of Everbright Securities Hong Kong, Xiao Benhua, Member of He Ying Studio at Decision Consulting Research Base of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and Victor Zimba, Finance Director of Zambia Financial Intelligence Center made keynote speeches. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Director of the College of International Education of our university, and 70 participating officials from the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and other 11 countries attended the forum.

On the evening of October 15,2021(GMT+8), the Opening Ceremony for "Ministerial Workshop on Financial Strategy in Developing Countries" hosted by Ministry of Commerce and organized by MOFCOM Training Base forInternational Business Officials (Shanghai) was held online. Ms. He Ying, Vice President of our university and Mr. Fang Meng from Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce attended the opening ceremony. This Ministerial Workshop is thesecond online workshop held by our university this year. In the new development stage of the "Dual Circulation" under the post-epidemic era,the changes in the global economy and markets have brought huge challenges to the development of countries around the world. The Workshop aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between countriesin the field of financial strategy, and provide China's experience to improve their financial strategy capabilities.

On the afternoon of October 14, Chen Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of our university’s party committee, led a delegation including Yuan Mingyu, Director of the Finance Department, Li Shuang, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department, and Fei Chen, Deputy Director of the Logistics Department, to the College of International Education and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) to conductresearch and exchanges. The meeting was presided over by Chen Wei, ViceDean of our College and Deputy Director of our Training Base. Members of the leadership team and relevant representatives of our College attended the exchange meeting.
